I have a strong professional background in compliance and legal support, supported by my Juris Doctor degree. I currently work as a Compliance Associate at Savant Wealth Management, where I manage day-to-day compliance operations, ensure adherence to SEC regulations and internal policies, and support audits, filings, and regulatory reviews. During a departmental transition, I assumed an expanded workload covering responsibilities of both a departing associate and a manager on maternity leave, demonstrating adaptability, sound judgment, and leadership. I also trained and onboarded a new Compliance Associate and regularly collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Advisory teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks across the firm. My legal background includes hands-on experience with document management, case review, and courtroom support through my internship at The Law Office of Mitchell J. Howie, where I assisted attorneys with client matters and confidential legal documents. Additionally, my role with the University of Alabama’s International Student and Scholar Services involved managing sensitive immigration-related processes, including OPT, H-1B visas, and ICE I-20 documentation, which strengthened my understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance procedures, and data integrity.
